This is the letter I just sent out to our family and friends!....
Well....it is almost unbelievable, but Chris' company, OneGIS, SOLD! Chris has been working his tail off to get all the negotiations done and this week he was gone every night late....last night I thought he had signed the deal and closed it and was out celebrating...I couldn't reach him on his phone and hadn't heard from him all day. I started to think he had gotten in a wreck...It got to be 11:30 PM and I didn't want to call and bug his parents if he was out celebrating so I texted Emmett (one of his partners) asking what the deal was.
Emmett said he was on a conference call with them (he's in Colorado) and it was going along smoothly just slowly...I told him Chris needed to learn to communicate with his wife!!! Emmett agreed! lol
Finally, I got a call at around 2:30AM or so from Chris as I finally went to bed, of course! He said they had JUST finished signing everything! (He also said he didn't have his phone with him in the conference room...) India requires him, as the company representative, to sign or initial every page of each copy! Each copy was about 2 inches thick and there were 5 copies! It was late before they had all agreed to everything IN the contracts and could even print them.
We have prayed about this day for a LONG time and we NEEDED this to happen. It almost sold to this same company (ROLTA) 2 years ago when they made their first offer (of almost 4 times MORE than this offer!) when things were going much better with OneGIS. Obviously, God knew it was NOT the right time to sell. ROLTA is even interested in moving us to Venezuela in a couple of years to open an office there for the Latin American region. This MAY be how God allows us to go there to minister. We know God has called us to minister in Venezuela but we don't know how the details will unfold.... It may be he works there and we do missions part time. I am concerned about it knowing he may be too "busy" with work to do what we want to regarding missions and helping share Christ's love and compassion with them. But, God knows best and how it will all work. Either way, Chris must work for them for 3 years so that is ALL we "know" right now!
These are the verses I am claiming right now as we are still going through some uncertainty with our home in foreclosure and transitioning to this new business role, etc....

Chris just told me a little bit ago that they received the payout in the OneGIS account after having official approval from India so it is a "DONE DEAL"! He is no longer the President of OneGIS. I asked if he was sad...he said "not at all!" That is great...I told him it may hit him later though....He said he is too busy preparing to move ahead as a Senior Vice President in the top 20 people of a 4,500 employee company!!!
Thank you God that we have closure to this chapter in our lives and are blessed with being able to pay the bills! That is the biggest answer to prayers! Thank you all for praying for us through all of this and please continue to do so. We are blessed to have you as friends and family.
